About VisitThisPlace

VisitThisPlace is a website for exploring the world, not for getting directions. The start screen is an interactive 3D globe: spin it, search for a place, or just click a dot to jump straight into a city. If you would rather read than spin, every place is listed here.

Once you're in a city, you get a map plus a side panel with real photos and facts pulled live from Wikipedia, a curated list of places worth seeing, and embedded YouTube walk-throughs (3D and on-foot tours) so you can see what a place actually feels like before you go. Click any place in the list and the map flies to it; click a walk-through and it plays right there in a split view above the map. A back arrow in the top-left corner always takes you back to the globe.
